1. How To Change The Background For The Login Screen In Windows 7

Don't like the Windows 7 login screen background?  Well You can change it and here is how.

  • Changing the login screen is pretty easy.  All you need to do is copy the background that you do want to the following location 
  • C:\Windows\System32\oobe\
  • From There you have rename the background.bmp file to something else
  • Now just rename your file to background.bmp and there you go. 

2. How To Make Win 7 Login Automatically

Windows 7 requires you to put in your password every time your computer boots up or goes to sleep.  Here is how to get around that.

  1. Start Run and control userpasswords2
  2. Uncheck the option 'Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer' and click OK

  1. Launch regedit - Start -> Run -> Regedit
  2. Navigate to the follow key
  3. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\DWM
  4. Create the follow Dword 32bit entries
    • UseMachineCheck and set the value to 0
    • Blur and set the value to 0
    • Animations and set the value to 0
  5.  Close Regedit
  6. Start CMD with Administrative Privileges
  7. Type the following commands
    • netstop uxsms
    • netstart uxsms
  8.  Now Attempt to Enable Aero by right clicking on desktop-> Personalize ->Windows Colors.

    4. Remove Send Feedback Link In Win 7

    Want to get rid of that annoying send feedback link in windows 7.  Here is how.

    1. Luanch Regedit -  Start -> run -> regedit
    2. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Control Panel > Desktop
    3. Set FeedbackToolEnabled to 0.  If there is no FeedbackToolEnable key then create it.
    4. Hit okay 
    5. Log Off and and back On for the changes to take effect.
